I am a tenured Associate Professor in Biomechanics at the Promobilia MoveAbility Lab, Department of Engineering Mechanics, KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden. I am also affiliated with the Department of Women’s and Children’s Health, Karolinska Institutet.
My research focuses on developing computational and experimental approaches to quantify muscle neuromechanics, with an emphasis on motor impairment and neurorehabilitation. By integrating personalized data from medical imaging, advanced electromyography, wearable sensors, and experimental measurements, I aim to uncover the mechanisms of human movement and advance clinical applications in motor function assessment and recovery.
